Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Ms. Kritika Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
With regard to the grievance relating to slaughtering of animals on the festival of Eid-Ul-Azha, the petitioners may approach the District Magistrate, Allahabad alongwith a certified copy of this order, whereupon the District Magistrate, Allahabad shall pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of 24 hours from the time of receiving the application.
Petition is accordingly disposed of.
