The sole prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the trial court to decide Original Suit No.248 of 2016 within a stipulated period.
It is urged by counsel for the petitioner that the defendants have already entered appearance but issues have not been settled so far.
Having regard to the facts of the case and the submissions made, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the trial court to make serious endeavour to decide the suit expeditiously, by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournments to the parties.
