Pursuant to previous order passed by this Court, the concerned CJM has submitted a report annexing an affidavit sworn by the appellant wherein it has been stated that the appellant is not interested to prosecute this appeal.
Counsel for the appellant also submits that the appellant is not interested to prosecute this appeal as he has already been set free by the Government after granting the benefit of remission. He submits that the appellant may be permitted to withdraw this appeal.
State counsel has no objection to this proposition. He also confirms that the appellant has already been set free by the Government.
As the appellant is not interested to prosecute this appeal, the appeal is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn.
