1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
2. This petition has been filed praying for a direction to the police authorities to give protection to the petitioners as they have married out of their own sweet will.
3. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that petitioner no.1 is 19 years old and petitioner no.2 is 23 years old. They have performed Nikah on 9.11.2019 in Delhi Khajuri and a copy of Nikahnama has been filed as Annexure-1 to the petition. It has been submitted that both the petitioners are major and they have married out of their own sweet will. Since the petitioners have married against their parents wishes, they are being harassed by the family members.
4. This petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to approach the S.H.O., P.S- Hafijganj, District Bareilly, who shall extend all help and protection to them under the Government Order dated 31.08.2019.
