JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner claims that the petitioner is not permitted to appear for the 5th semester examination in B.Tech. The refusal is for reason of an enquiry with respect to a malpractice suspected in the first year examinations, conducted in 2013. There is some suspicion with respect to the hand-writing and the enquiry is proceeded with, as initiated as on 20.07.2013 as indicated in Ext.P1. 2. I have heard the learned Standing Counsel for the University also.
2. Since the University would definitely take some time to complete the enquiry and that should not prejudice the petitioner, if she is not found guilty, definitely, this Court would direct the petitioner to be admitted provisionally to the examinations.
W.P.(C) No.31276 of 2014 2
3. Accordingly it is directed that, the hall ticket shall be issued forthwith. The petitioner's results, however, shall not be declared and shall depend upon the final orders in the enquiry proceedings. The University shall also complete the proceedings, as expeditiously as possible, within three weeks from today.
The writ petition is disposed of.
