O R D E R Sri. Pratheep K. C., learned counsel for the petitioners.
Sri. Basavaraju H. N., learned counsel for the respondent No.1, Sri. Vijayakumar A. Patil, learned AGA for respondents Nos.2 and 3.
2. Petition is admitted for hearing. With consent of the parties, same is heard finally.
3. In this petition, the petitioners inter alia have assailed the validity of the interim order dated 27.02.2018 passed by the Deputy Commissioner in an appeal which is pending before him.
4. When the matter was taken up today, learned counsel for the parties jointly submitted that the arguments in the appeal have been heard.
5. In view of the aforesaid submission and taking into account the provisions of Section 16(6) of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, I deem it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the Appellate Tribunal to decide the appeal preferred by the petitioners by a speaking order within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order passed today.
6. Accordingly the petition is disposed of.
