Sri Devashish Tripathi, learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the submission of learned Standing Counsel that the petitioner has assailed the show cause notice and he has remedy of tendering his defence by submitting reply to the show cause notice.
Learned counsel for the petitioner recasts his relief and prays that the licensing authority may decide the controversy within a stipulated period of time.
I see merit in the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner. Interest of justice will be served by issuing the following directions:
(i) The petitioner shall submit his reply to the show cause notice within period of two weeks from today.
(ii) The licensing authority shall decide the controversy after considering the reply of the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of production of a computer generated copy of this order, downloaded from the website of High Court, Allahabad.
The authority/official shall verify the authenticity of such computerized copy of the order from the official website of High Court, Allahabad and shall make a declaration of such verification in writing.
The writ petition is disposed of.
