The report is submitted by the Dy.Superintendant, Ahmedabad Central Jail in a very casual manner without properly considering the grievances made by the convict-prisoner. It is pertinent to note that the convict-prisoner has also sent the articles (bidi) along with the application which shows that there is some substance in the allegations made by the convict-prisoner.
In view of the above, I.G.Prisons is directed to hold inquiry in the matter and take necessary steps. This matter stands disposed of accordingly. It is directed to the authority that, in future, the authority will look into the matter and submit the report thereafter.
