THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR ORDERS, THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
O R D E R Compliance of office objection does not arise in the circumstance in which the petition is to be disposed of.
2. Learned Government Advocate to accept notice for respondents No. 1 and 2. He is permitted to file memo of appearance in four weeks.
3. Learned Government Advocate would bring to the notice of this Court that as against the order dated 13.07.2017 sought to be impugned at Annexure-D in the petition, the petitioner has the remedy of appeal as provided under Section 18 of the Arms Act, 1959.
4. Having perused the provision, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail the remedy of appeal. If such appeal is filed by the petitioner, the Appellate Authority shall consider the same on merits without reference to the delay, if any.
Registry to return the papers, if any sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
The petition is disposed of accordingly.
