Prima facie, the Labour Court has passed the award contrary to law. However, Mr. Sompura, learned advocate for the respondent, is consistently absent from the Court.

In that view of the matter, Office to issue Notice to respondent to make alternative arrangement or to appear as party­in­person.

The matter is peremptorily fixed for hearing on 11 January, th 2013. It is made clear that on the next date of hearing matter will be proceeded ex­parte, even in absence of learned advocate for the respondent.
