THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE C.V. NAGARJUNA REDDY WRIT PETITION No.37110 of 2014 Dated: 03.12.2014 Between:
Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd., Rep. by its Manager Sri N. Pradeep Kumar .. Petitioner and The State of Andhra Pradesh, Rep. by its Principal Secretary, Irrigation & CAD Department, Secretariat, Hyderabad, and others.

The purported inaction of respondent No.1 in considering the petitioner’s request for extension of agreement time for completion of the work of providing terminal distribution network through sump, construction of sump, pumping system, pipelines and micro irrigation system in canal command areas of Lift Irrigation Schemes under Lingala Canal System Micro Block-1 for 2,500 acres, pertaining to package No.MI.Lingala-1, is questioned in this writ petition.
In support of its plea that due to various reasons beyond its control, it could not complete the work, the petitioner has filed a copy of letter No.CE(P)/Irrgn/KDP/TS3/M1-CBR/4507/2008-1 dated 30-04-2014 of respondent No.2 addressed to the Chairman of the State Level Standing Committee, Hyderabad.
