Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(i) issue writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents ensure the removal of the encroachment over the Gata No. 290 area 0.0970 hectare as a 'Raod' and Gata No. 295 area 0.4620 hectare as a 'Pokhari' recorded in the revenue record within stipulated period as directed by this Hon'ble Court."
Learned Standing Counsel on the basis of instructions received, copy whereof is taken on record and another copy has been made available to learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that the encroachment over land recorded as Road and pond has since been removed.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition has been rendered infructuous by subsequent developments and is dismissed as such.
