Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned A.G.A. for the State.
The petitioners are alleged to be participants in an alleged incident causing injuries to the complainant and others. The first information report discloses the commission of cognizable offences and the injury report indicates that there are three injured. In view of the aforesaid position that emerges and the fact that the petitioners were wanted for alleged offences under Sections 147, 323, 325, 308, 504 I.P.C., we are not inclined to exercise our discretion so as to quash the first information report leaving it open to the petitioners to apply for bail which shall be considered in accordance with law.
The writ petition is accordingly rejected.
