The petitioner has instituted this writ proceeding for a direction upon the respondent to provide permanent Armed Security Guard to the petitioner in terms of the order dated 09.05.2014.
Sri M.D. Singh 'Shekhar', learned Senior Advocate contends that on the representation of the petitioner, the Regional Security Committee, vide its recommendation dated 25th January, 2019, has made a recommendation to the respondent no. 2 to consider the cause of the petitioner. A copy of the said report is on the record.
Having due regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, we are of the view that ends of justice would met by issuing a direction upon respondent no. 2 to take appropriate decision, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within six weeks. Having due regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, we grant liberty to the petitioner to move an application before the respondent no. 2 within three days for the interim protection, till final decision is taken by him.
With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.
