Following orders were passed in the matter on 30.7.2021:-
"Submission is that petitioner has already been selected for appointment to the post of Constable and his appointment cannot be withheld merely on account of the First Information Report lodged against him in Case Crime No.184 of 2016, inasmuch as the proceedings therein were under Section 363 IPC and the victim herself gave a statement that she intends to go with the main accused with whom she had married. Consequently final report was submitted, which has already been accepted by the competent court. Submission is that these facts, therefore, were not required to be mentioned, particularly as the petitioner had no knowledge of it, otherwise. Submission is that merely for such reasons the appointment cannot be denied to petitioner.
Learned Standing Counsel prays for and is allowed two weeks' time to obtain instructions.
Put up as fresh, once again, on 20.8.2021."
Learned Standing Counsel has obtained instructions in the matter, according to which appointment letters were issued to petitioner on 11.8.2021.
In that view of the matter, no further grievance survives. Writ petition is consigned to records.
