Connect this petition with W.P. No. 17553 of 2012.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitoner being the highest bidder has deposited the amount and has been running the contract. He submits that the said contract was for the year 2012-13.
Learned counsel for petitioner further submits that the State Government has issued an order dated 5.4.2012 cancelling the contract given for the year 2012-13. In pursuance of the order dated 5.4.2012 an advertisement has been published on 8.4.2012 inviting the tenders and fixed 16.4.2012 for new fresh auciton.
Let a counter affidavit be filed within two weeks List thereafter.
In the meantime, the effect and operation of notice dated 8.4.20112 shall remain stayed. The petitioner who has already been authorised to collect parking fee in pursuance of his highest bid dated 21.3.2012 having been accepted may continue to realise the parking fee.
