JUDGMENT / ORDER

[1] Rule.
Mr.J.K.Shah, learned APP waives service of rule on behalf of the respondent -State.
[2] The applicant has preferred this application through his mother to release him on parole for a period of 30 days so as to enable him to attend Akika ceremony of son of the applicant convict prisoner. The programme is to start from 15.01.2012.
[3] The applicant convict prisoner is in jail since more than nine years. On number of occasions, he was released on furlough and parole by the competent authority as well as by this Court and he surrendered in time. His jail conduct is also good.
[4] Considering above aspects, present application is partly allowed. The applicant is ordered to be released on usual terms and conditions on parole for a period of 20 (twenty) days from the date of his actual release on his depositing Rs.2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) before the jail authority.
[5] The applicant shall surrender before the jail authority on expiry of aforesaid period.
[6] Rule is made absolute to the aforesaid extent.
Copy of this order be provided to learned APP.
