Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.
Undisputedly, the relief claimed rests upon an empanelment of the petitioner in a list which was prepared on 7 August 1989. In view there of this Court finds no ground to entertain the writ petition after such inordinate delay. The mere fact that the representation of the petitioner came to be decided recently cannot revive a cause which is clearly stale.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
