It is alleged that the petitioners were employed with U.P. Sahakari Katai Mills Ltd, Fatehpur.
The Mill itself has become sick and has been closed down. Petitioners contend that an option was extended for availing voluntary retirement to the employees vide Government Order dated 23rd of April, 2012. Petitioners submit that they have availed of the option so extended, by submitting the required documents, but claim of the petitioners have not been considered so far.
Learned counsel for the respondents submits that in case petitioners' claim have not been considered so far, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law.
Considering the above, this petition stands disposed of, requiring the respondent No.3 to examine the claim of petitioners for grant of benefit under voluntary retirement scheme introduced by Government Order dated 23rd of April, 2012 within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. All consequential action shall be taken accordingly.
