Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief -
"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to expedite the case no.T- 201902250101928/2015 (Jagrup Vs. Amar Singh and others) under Section 41 of L.R. Act pending before the respondent no.2 and family decide the same expeditiously within three months positively, otherwise the petitioner shall suffer irreparable loss and injury."
It has been stated that the proceedings under Section 42 of the U.P. Land Revenue Act instituted in the year 2015 have not been concluded till date.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2 to endeavour to decide the case of the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before respondent no.2.
