1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Standing Counsel and Sri Bhupendra Kumar Tripathi, learned counsel for the Land Management Committee.
2. Solitary grievance of the petitioner is that his Case No. 201915090000055 (Jaglal Vs. Dinesh & Ors.) filed under Section 128 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, for cancellation of the lease deed has remained pending since 2018 before respondent no.1-Ziladhikari/Chief Revenue Officer, Ballia. It has been submitted that the respondents are delaying the proceedings.
3. Without entering the merits, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.1 to decide the aforesaid case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of a copy of this order, provided the petitioner does not seek any adjournment during that time period and cooperates in the proceedings.
