The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that Case No. 373 of 2018 (Laxman Vs. State) filed under Section 42-A of the U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953 before the Consolidation Officer, Sadar, District-Ghazipur, is not being decided by the appellate court.
Without entering into the merits of the case, the Consolidation Officer, Sadar, District-Ghazipur, i.e., respondent No. 2 is directed to decide the aforesaid case within a period of three months from the date a copy of this order is produced before him, if still pending, and in case there is no legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid case.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
It is clarified that the Court has not expressed any opinion either regarding the maintainability of the case or the merits of claim made in the writ petition.
