The sole prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the trial court to decide the temporary injunction application pending in Original Suit No. 39 of 2012 expeditiously and till the disposal of temporary injunction application, the parties may maintain status quo.
The perusal of the order sheet reveals that although the suit is of the year 2012, the application for the temporary injunction is still pending for disposal.
Accordingly, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the trial court to decide the application for temporary injunction expeditiously, by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournment. However, this Court declines to grant ex-parte injunction to the petitioners, as prayed for, in exercise of supervisory power under Article 227 of the Constitution of India.
