Heard Dr. Akhilesh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner is currently posted as an Inspector in the U.P. Police. He claims that he is entitled to the benefit of services rendered by him in the Indian Air Force. The petitioner submits that he has made a representation in this regard on 27.12.2018 which is pending consideration.
The only prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner is that the representation may be decided within a stipulated period of time.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that the grant of benefit of services rendered in the Indian Air Force is an issue which needs to be examined by the competent authority.
The respondent no. 2 is directed to decide the representation of the petitioner preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order along with fresh copy of the representation.
The writ petition is disposed of.
