Pursuant to the order passed on 14.5.2018, learned Standing Counsel has obtained instructions, according to which, petitioner has proceeded to issue advertisement pursuant to which his wife, brother and son were selected. Since such facts had came to the notice of the authorities, an order of suspension has been passed against the petitioner. It is also stated that petitioner's contention that he has not submitted papers or appointed these persons have prima facie not found to have any substance and disciplinary proceedings have also been initiated in the matter, and the same shall be concluded at the earliest.
Considering the seriousness of charges levelled against the petitioner, this Court is of the opinion that no interference in the order of suspension is called for. It is, however, provided that disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner would be got concluded within a period of four months from today. Petitioner undertakes to cooperate in it. Petitioner shall be entitled to subsistence allowance as per law.
