1. Heard Sri Ramesh Chandra Yadav, learned counsel for the applicants and learned A.G.A. for the State through video conference.
2. This anticipatory bail application has been filed on behalf of the applicants - Jafar Yab, Anis and Firoj, seeking anticipatory bail in Case Crime No. 335 of 2016, under Sections - 3/5/8 U.P. Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act, Police Station - Kithaur, District - Meerut, during pendency of trial.
3. In view of criminal history of four cases cited by learned AGA, the discretion claimed for grant of anticipatory bail is declined.
4. Accordingly, the present anticipatory bail application rejected. However, keeping in mind the nature of offence alleged and the further submission of learned counsel for the applicants that they were not present at the spot and have been named by the co-acused, the regular bail application, if filed within two weeks from today, the same may be heard and decided on its own merit, as expeditiously as possible, without being prejudiced by any observation made in this order.
