JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition complaining of nonpayment of the amount due as per the decree in L.A.R. No.109 of 2007 of the Sub Court, Thiruvananthapuram. As per the interim order dated 14.12.2012, 50% of the amount has already been paid to the petitioner. The balance amount is remaining unpaid, till date. The petitioner seeks the issue of appropriate directions for payment of the balance amount. The Government Pleader assures that the amount would be paid without further delay. It is only because the amount has not been received from the requisitioning authority, that the delay has occurred. 2. Having heard the counsel appearing for the respective parties, I am satisfied that, some direction is necessary to be issued to pay the balance amount within a W.P.(C) No.27705 of 2012-K -:2:-
stipulated time. I notice that almost two years have elapsed since the last order which is dated 14.12.2012.
This writ petition is therefore disposed of directing the second respondent to pay the balance amount due to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of four months from today.
