This writ petition has been filed, inter alia, for the following relief;
"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No. 3 and 5 i.e. District Magistrate, Banda and Superintendent of Police, Banda, not to interfere in the peaceful transportation of sand from the State of Madhya Pradesh to the State of Uttar Pradesh."
Learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his prayer to the extent that the Respondent No. 3, District Magistrate may be directed to dispose of the representation dated 8.8.2019 pending before it within a stipulated period of time.
Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the Respondent No. 3, District Magistrate to consider and decide the representation dated 8.8.2019 pending before it in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably, within six weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
