Case called out in the revised list. None has appeared for the petitioners to press this writ petition.
The petitioner seeks a writ of certiorari for quashing the order dated 27.06.2007 passed by the Settlement Officer Consolidation allowing an appeal under Section 11(1) of the U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act filed by the one Gokul. This appeal was directed against an order passed by the Assistant Consolidation Officer allegedly on the basis of a compromise.
The appeal was allowed by the Settlement Officer Consolidation and the compromise order was set aside on the ground that there was no compliance of the provisions of Rule 25 of the U.P. Consolidation of Holding Rules.
The consequential revision filed by the petitioner has been rejected.
Upon perusal of the record as also the impugned order, I do not find any illegality, therein.
The writ petition wholly without merit and is dismissed.
