1. These petitions have been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners for regularization of service on the Post of Assistants (Junior Clerk) with effect from their initial date of appointment with all consequential benefits.
2. The reliefs claimed in these petitions cannot be granted in view of the well settled principle of law enunciated by the Apex Court in the case of Secretary, State of Karnataka and others v. Umadevi (3) and others, (2006) 4 SCC 01 and in a Full Bench decision of this Court in the case of Amreli Municipality v. Gujarat Pradesh Municipal Employees Union, 2004 (3) G.L.R. 1841.
Hence, these petitions stand rejected.
