2. Petitioner claims that he was granted Settlement Patta under Ex.P1 dated 02.04.2014 by order of the Settlement Officer, Visakhapatnam in the claim petition filed by various parties including the petitioner, vide S.R.No.15(1)/60/72, dated 30.12.1972. Petitioner has sought grant of pattadar passbooks and title deeds to the extent of the land granted patta in S.No.1/8 part of Relli Village in S.Kota Taluk of Visakhapatnam District. Alleging inaction, the present writ petition is filed.
3. Learned Government Pleader, who has secured instructions, states that the said survey numbers comprise of Ac.621-18 cents and, as such, petitioner was required to produce the orders of the Settlement Officer. But so far the said orders are not produced. It is further stated that if the Settlement Officer’s order is produced, appropriate enquiry will be taken and appropriate steps in accordance with law will be taken.
4. In view of that, the writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to approach the respondent-Tahsildar and also produce the copy of the settlement officer’s order, which shall be verified and examined by the Tahsildar and then he shall take appropriate necessary steps expeditiously. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
