JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 01.07.2017 with regard to grant of license for running petti shop / Bunk Shop, within a time frame.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representations dated 01.07.2017, the 2nd respondent has not passed any order so far.
3. Mr.O.Selvam, learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1st respondent and Mr.T.C.Gopalakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.07.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
