This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the trial Court to expedite the trial in S.C.No.175 of 2016, on the file of the learned II Additional Sessions Judge at Chennai, within the time limit as stipulated by this Court.
2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the proceedings in S.C.No.175 of 2016, on the file of the learned II Additional Sessions Judge at Chennai, is still in the stage of framing charges.
3. In view of the limited prayer sought for, there shall be a direction to the learned II Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai, to complete the trial in S.C.No.175 of 2016 and dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible.
5. with the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
