Heard Sri Ashutosh Kumar holding brief of Sri Anurag Pathak, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of mandamus commanding the respondents for making measurement of plots of respondent nos. 3 and 4.
The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner filed an application dated 4.5.2019 for making measurement, on which report was called from the concerned authorities, but the said application is pending till date and no order has been passed by Settlement Officer of Consolidation.
Under these circumstances, Settlement Officer of Consolidation, Saharanpur is directed to decide the application of the petitioner dated 4.5.2019, appended as annexure-4 to the writ petition as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
