As there was no representation for the petitioner or his counsel in spite of the matter being passed over on 25.08.2014, this matter was directed to be listed ‘for dismissal’ on 19.09.2014.
2. Today, the matter appears under the caption ‘for dismissal’ and was again passed over, as there was no representation during the morning session. However, there is no representation again in the afternoon.
3. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed for non- prosecution. Status quo order dated 23.11.2004 shall stand vacated. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence. No order as to costs.
