A.M.Shaffique, J This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking police protection for energising a telecommunication tower. 2. An interim order has already been granted by this court on 1.10.2012, which reads as follows :
"There will be an interim order directing the second respondent to provide protection to the petitioner enabling the petitioner and its employees to proceed with the construction of the Mobile Cellular Telecommunication Tower in Survey No.3/57 of Palayad Village, Vatakara Taluk, Kozhikode District pursuant to Ext.P3 permit as against any obstruction by the members of the fourth respondent. We make it clear that the mobile transmission tower shall not be operated by the petitioner except after getting orders from this Court. It will be subject to further condition that no antenna shall be fixed except after getting permission from this Court. This order will remain in force for a period of three weeks.”
3. It is made clear that if the tower has already been constructed, it shall be open for the petitioner to start operation WP(C) No. 19197/12 2 of the tower subject to compliance of all other statutory formalities.
With this observation, the writ petition is closed.
