The petitioner is aggrieved by the non-payment of his retiral dues. He retired on 03.08.2016 from the office of Zone-Ist, Jal Kal Vibhag, Surya Nagar, Agra. He has represented his grievance before the General Manager and copies of the representations filed by him along with reminders have been filed as Annexures no. 3 and 4 to the writ petition.
Learned counsel for the respondents agrees that the controversy raised in the writ petition can easily be settled by the respondents themselves by addressing the grievance of the petitioner.
Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 3 (Executive Engineer, Zone-Ist, Jal Kal Vibhag, Surya Nagar, Agra) to look into the grievance of the petitioner and send his comments to the competent authority, if any. The competent authority shall thereafter pass a reasoned and speaking order thereon within a period of eight weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
In case the competent authority finds that certain dues are admissible to the petitioner and they have not been paid without any reason, the same shall also directed to be paid with admissible interest.
