~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. 2. Petitioner is the 6th accused in Crime No.57/2007 of Kodakara Police Station registered for the offences punishable under Sections 143, 147, 148, 452 and 302 read with Section 149 IPC and Section 20 read with Section 27 of the Arms Act. The petitioner has been in custody for the period from 22.04.2014 onwards.
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor.
4. It has been reported that the petitioner has a series of criminal antecedents of serious nature on his part, including another case for the offence under Section 302 IPC. It has been reported that he is involved in 10 other criminal cases. All the earlier bail applications filed by the BA.7577/2014 : 2 :
petitioner were dismissed by this Court. There is absolutely no change of circumstances at present. It seems that the case before the court below has been posted to 30.10.2014. Considering the seriousness of criminal antecedents on the part of the petitioner, this Court is of the view that he is not entitled to be enlarged on bail. At the same time, the court below shall take immediate necessary steps for an expeditious disposal of the matter.
In the result, this Bail Application is dismissed.
