By means of the present writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for issuing a writ of mandamus directing the respondent no. 1, the Sub Divisional Officer, Jakhania, Ghazipur, to decide Case No. 23/20 of 2013, expeditiously.
No useful purpose will be served in keeping the writ petition pending. This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 1, the Sub Divisional Officer, Jakhania, Ghazipur, to decide the petitioner's Case No. 23/20 of 2013, in accordance with law, within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioner on merits.
