JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner approached the Geologist by Ext.P2 for obtaining permit for mining clay. Petitioner relies on Ext.P1 and submits that the property has been identified by the District Collector and imposed certain conditions for mining clay in the area. It is also submitted that the District Collector has again identified the land mentioned in Ext.P1 and found that it is fit for mining clay.
I am of view, if the petitioner is able to produce any document which shows that mining clay has been permitted by the District Collector along with an application for permit, the Geologist shall consider the application based on such document without further delay. Needful shall be done on production of such document within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment.
The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
