Petitioner’s grievance is against the Indian Red Cross Society and seeks to question the order of said Society dated 20.08.2014 whereby this petitioner is superseded and a monitoring committee is appointed.
Since Indian Red Cross Society is a registered Society under Societies Registration Act, the petitioner has efficacious alternative remedy under Section 23 of the said Act before the District Court.
With liberty to the petitioner to avail the alternative remedy and leaving all his contentions open, the writ petition is, therefore, dismissed.
There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed.
