Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Mrs. Retu learned counsel for the respondent.
Petitioner is an employee of the Department of Post. Remedy of the petitioner against the impugned action is to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal in view of the provisions contained under the Central Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. This writ petition is not liable to be entertained in view of the law laid down by the Apex Court in the case of L. Chandra Kumar Vs. Union of India & others, reported in AIR (1997) 3 SCC Page 261.
In respect of the grievance raised, the appropriate remedy available to the petitioner would be to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal and, therefore, this writ petition is not liable to be entertained.
Leaving it open to petitioner to approach the Tribunal in respect of his grievance, this petition is consigned to records.
