Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The present petition has been filed seeking the following relief:
"(i) To call for the records and to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to properly fix and revise the grade pay of the petitioner and he may be provided grade pay of Rs. 4200/- and his pay scale/salary may also be revised from due date in accordance with law.
(ii) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to provide arrears of salary with interest in accordance with law."
The contention of counsel for the petitioner is that the grievance of the petitioner is not being considered despite repeated requests and reminders.
Without going into the merits of the case at this stage, the present petition is disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to file fresh representation before the respondent no. 2 within a period of two weeks from today. Respondent no.
2 shall pass a reasoned order, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months with regard to the claim of the petitioner.
The petition is disposed off in terms of the said direction. Copy of the order downloaded from the website of Allahabad High Court shall be accepted/treated as certified copy of the order.
