Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent No.2 to decide the restoration application of petitioner dated 11.09.2018 within stipulated period which is pending before the respondent No.2/Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil-Rudhauli, District Basti (Annexure No.5 to this writ petition)."
The petitioner is aggrieved as his application under Section 67A of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 was dismissed for default. The restoration application filed on 11.09.2018 has not been disposed of finally till date.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to decide the restoration application as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
