JUDGMENT / ORDER

The respondent is present before this Court.
2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been given the key in respect of Shop No.7, Phase II, in the First Floor of Commercial Complex, Padhuvanchery, Madambakkam, Chennai  600 126. N.KIRUBAKARAN,J.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner is entitled to get possession of the said shop, nine months ago, only today, he has got the keys and therefore, the period of lease has to commence from today.
4. The above contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner appears to be reasonable.
5. Therefore, the contempt petition is closed with a direction to the respondent to treat the petitioner as a tenant in respect of the above said shop from today. 22.03.2017 nv Cont.P. No. 116 of 2017 http://www.judis.nic.in
