The petitioner is the President of JMS Charitable Trust and the said Trust is stated to be doing several welfare activities in the field of education, employment, etc. The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to upgrade the Government High School at Karatholuvu Village, Thiruppur District, to Higher Secondary School.
2. When the writ petition is taken up today, Mr.V. Anandhamoorthy, learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that the said High School has been upgraded by G.O.Ms. No. 110 School Education ( Department dated 02.07.2013 as Higher Secondary School and the name of the school is found at Serial No. 95 of the annexure to the said G.O.
3. In view of the above, the relief sought in the writ petition has already been granted and hence, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. 15.09.2017 nv To
