JUDGMENT / ORDER

By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. Mr.P. Senthilvel, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.
3. The petitioner would state that she is a widow and on account of indigent circumstances, she is finding it extremely difficult to maintain her family consisting of two minor children, aged about 9 years and 6 years respectively and also her aged mother-in-law and she is doing odd jobs to eke out her livelihood as a daily wage labour. The petitioner would further submit that she was in her X standard, when she discontinued her studies due to family circumstances. She has got her name registered with the Employment Exchange for the said Village. Though she has twice attended the interview for the post of Village Assistant, despite possessing qualification, she has not been given any order of appointment. It is further submitted by the petitioner that last of such interview was attendd by her in respect of filling up of vacancy of the post of Village Assistsant in Ko. Kothanur Village, which was held on 11.06.2015. According to the petitioner, despite her best performance, the result of the same was not communicated to her and later, she came to know that somebody else has been appointed. The petitioner, in this regard, has submitted a representation dated 17.05.2016 to the 2nd respondent and the 2nd respondent, vide memo in Reference Nos.x/K/m6/5622/2016 dated 01.06.2016 and x/K/m6/9592/2016 dated 08.08.2016 respectively has directed the Revenue Tahsildar, Veppur, to conduct an enquiry and inform the result of the same. Since no progress has been made, the petitioner has come forward to file the present writ petition.
4. Heard Mr.R. Ramana, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P. Senthilvel, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.
5. Though the petitioner prays for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances, without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner either in her representation or in the writ petition, directs the Revenue Tahsildar, Veppur, to act on the memo of the 2nd respondent in Reference Nos.x/K/m6/5622/2016 dated 01.06.2016 and x/K/m6/9592/2016 dated 08.08.2016 respectively, after putting on notice, the other persons concerned and shall inform about the action taken to the petitioner, with a copy marked to the 2nd respondent and also to other persons concerned.
