JUDGMENT / ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] Challenge is made to the order of detention passed by the second respondent vide Proceedings in BCDFGISSSV No.695/2016 dated 13.07.2016, whereby the detenu, namely Nithyaraj @ Bablu, S/o.Kutty, aged about 23 years, was ordered to be detained under GOONDA as comtemplated Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.
2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the mother of the petitioner dated 13.07.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. Rt .No.3979 HOME, PROHIBITION & EXCISE DEPARTMENT, dated 23.08.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.
