This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to transfer the investigation in Crime No.388 of 2017 from the second respondent to the third respondent for proper and fair investigation under the supervision of first respondent in accordance with law.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has given a complaint on 28.06.2017, there is no much progress of the investigation and therefore, the petitioner seeks transfer of investigation.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on the other hand submits that if the time is stipulated for completion of the investigation, the same will be complied.
4. Considering the submissions made by both sides, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No. 388 of 2017 and to file a final report/charge sheet, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. Further, the first respondent is directed to monitor the investigation to be conducted by the second respondent.
5.The Criminal Original Petition stands ordered with the above directions.
