JUDGMENT / ORDER

The limited prayer of the petitioner is that the Miscellaneous Petition in M.P.No.456 of 2016 in CC No.6 of 2013 seeking for discharge has been kept pending for quiet a long time.
2.Without going into the merits of the averments made by the petitioner in the discharge petition and taking into consideration that the case is pending from 2014 onwards, there shall be a direction to the Special Court, The Tamilnadu Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishment Act 1997, Chennai), to dispose of MP.No.456 of 2016 on its file within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3.With the above direction, the criminal original petition is allowed.
